So in the Summer holiday 2015 I went on a few Trips with #MathsTeddy. We went to London, Scotland, and pretty much everywhere else in between.
Check out some of the photos of who Maths Teddy met this summer. Note the badges too !!
So in Steels we stopped for Fish and Chips with @ELTimbre. She had to get her “Geek” on and show us the Dr Who Tardis.
So if you haven’t already checked out the resources on http://www.missbsresources.com you should. We stopped for Pie and Gravy (A ridiculously northern amount of gravy given that there was only two of us eating Pie).
Chris has a weekly newsletter that you should definitely sign up to. It has Maths Puzzles and a weekly Maths Milk Rota.
Manchester saw a quick visit to Mr Ben Ward. He is an inspirational leader and if you get the chance to meet up with him I suggest you do.
The first postcode these guys and gals gave me took me to the middle of a housing estate. After not getting “mugged” I found my way to breakfast. Maths Teddy even got to meet his twin. And there was cake courtesy of @ApApaget. Lots of cake.
A quick trip to Nottingham and a #MathsJam. No coke though. Not so sure I like a pub that doesn’t sell coke. We survived the evening though. Well we did have a Doctor to look after us !!
I can’t be the only one that thinks Mr Mattock is a dead ringer for a Peter Pan pirate !!! OK – so maybe I am but he is a local to Leicestershire and had to be on MathsTour.
A quick trip to Muldowney and her 1D erasers. I am sure that she wants me to share that detail rather than any photos.
Looking for Mr Reddy in Milton Keynes is like a needle in a haystack. Perhaps the best Ham, Egg and Chips on Maths Tour. Even went to Help and Advice but we found Bruno.
Who would have thought that MathsJem is actually a Jo. A fact that I am still getting used to and point out to far too many people on a weekly basis. I can only apologise Jo that this amazes me so much. Perhaps I should get out a LOT more !!!
Obviously I also got to go and see Mrs Denyer at her school. Thanks to different school holidays. Think we broke up nearly 10 days earlier. I won’t point out that I go to write this blog post on Half Term whilst the rest of them are probably still teaching.
Never has the ice cream lady put so many flakes in one ice cream !! Well that’s what you get when you have had a ridiculous amount of coke and meet at Brighton Pier. I think Andrew was the instigator of Flake-gate.
Maths Teddy was busy putting the kettle on at Laura’s house. She did like her Maths Badge though.
A trip out to the longest pier for an egg custard with Martin. He lost spectacularly at Air Hockey. I don’t think he realises how much practice I have had. Helped win 1D erasers for @Just_Maths though.
So this is just a few of the images taken on #48HourMathsTour. I didn’t even get to mention Ch4 nearly got to film my wedding with @TheMathsDiva. She set out on her bike and everything !!
