Although I have a laminated set of cards, I have also stuck a card copy of the plickers cards to my Year 8 books this week. I thought it might make activities easier as it means I don’t have to find and hand out individual student cards as well as move the “learning” on in a single lesson. I am looking at establishing better routines in the classroom.
So far so good.
All Year 8 were able to participate. I am not sure what I will be doing when they forget their book so I am thinking: “What I will do when this happens?”
The Curriculum Leader for Maths has seen and encouraged using Plickers more to establish routines and liked the Class Report I showed him demonstrating how I can address the misconceptions as a class.
Again, so far so good.
I am delivering a short (and I mean short) session at Staff Inset on 30th September so will be trying out a range of activities myself over the next week or so.
